Sheer punching power. I think it's between Daniel Dubois, Efe Ajagba and Vlad Sirenko. My choise would be Efe Ajagba.
Hrgovic is one of the best prospects out there, but punching power wise no.... Gorman id say but then again i havent seen much of the others.
I agree about Hrgovic. As for Gorman, he definitely can punch, but he went 8 rounds with the guy, whom Ilunga demolished in one.
Probably should have added Trey Lippe to the poll. His skillset is agerage at best, but he definitely can punch. Also, Rostislav Plechko deserves a mention. He lacks fundamental boxing skills, but can punch.
I don't think it's Joyce, he beats people into submission, seems heavy handed but is not a monster puncher imo. Neither is Gorman, I think he's a solid hitter and overall a very good prospect but he went the distance with Akinlade, who Bakole stopped in one. Hrgovic is also not a massive puncher. Dubois appears to hit hard but even then Bakole stopped DL Jones much more impressively than Dubois did. I haven't watched Ajagba or Sirenko but out of the ones I've seen I would suggest that Bakole is the biggest puncher. Having said that, I have heard that both hit hard, especially Ajagba.
So hard to tell, and there's different types of power, of course. (AJ vs Wilder / cannonball vs high speed rifle.) Plus, are we talking both hands, or just one? --------------------------------------------------- Well... My vote is a tie between Bakole and Trey Lippe. Bakole has size and hand speed, the deadly combo, and he really puts his whole body into every shot: Excellent foot placement and strong torso twisting. And his punches have that nice "George Foreman" thud. Plus, his brother Makabu is arguably the hardest puncher in the CW division, so he has the genetics. Trey's left hook is as good as I've ever seen. -------------------------------------------------- Ajagba is the only true competition for these guys, but I have serious doubts about his true power: He has 5 KO's in 5 fights, but against whom? And he's about 15 lbs lighter than Bakole. Sure, that's only a minor factor, but it IS a factor, given Bakole's hand speed and excellent overall technique. Ajagba has incredibly average technique, and I'm being nice. He literally throws like a girl. He does have excellent hand speed, but I don't see where all that supposed power is coming from. He's also fairly thin, so probably doesn't have dense bones. (He's not a mesomorph.) And finally, He’s landed flush on opponents many times, without even stunning them. Then a later, a similar punch puts them down. I smell pay offs, right & left. Just another well-constructed ($$$$) career. A future "designated loser" for AJ or Wilder. Time will tell.
Yeah, Bekole looked incredibly powerful against DL Jones, who took some punishment from Dubois before getting stopped. Bekole hurt him badly with every punch he landed.
It's hard to tell as power can be tied to class. If there were al fighting say top 40-60th ranked guys, we'd have a better answer Maybe Dubois. Maybe Trey Lippe Morrison.
