He dropped the champ heavily and almost through the ropes with a jab. 2nd most powerful HW after Wlad
Listen closley. Povetkin is the best puncher, technique wise on short punches. Wlad is the most consistent, he also has ultra power and athleticism. wilder has the speed to beat you before your close to seeing it coming. but the biggest puncher of all. Anthony MBE Joshua
The ****? Wilder has only fought one real opponent and failed to stop him. Haye has not fought in years. Price is totally unproven We don't know about Helenius yet after the injuries. Real list is: Wlad Joshua Povetkin Everyone else.
Joe Parker and AJ have potential to be but haven't been against a tough enough guy to prove it yet. I'd lean to Joseph Parker, who has demonstrated multiple single punch KOs - one of the more notable being against Yakup Saglam whose only other KO (ignoring the listed TKO which he retired due to injury) was after a huge smashing in the 7th round from Odlandier Solis... Parker flicked him off like a light. AJ's KOs are impressive, but the guys are usually cut down after multiple hits and usually able to get themselves up and able to get back to their corner shortly after the count - Parker has left some of his recent guys sleeping in the middle of the ring.
Parker hits very hard and true. but knocking out johnson was a big vamp on his resume, the 1st man ever to do so.
Yeah, definitely AJ's stand out moment though it was no longer a prime Johnson - much like Parker's destruction of Kali Meehan (and the resulting boost to top 10 on Boxrec) isn't really an equal comparison to the men who fought their earlier opponents.
I am really really looking forward to that fight. I'm favouring AJ right now, but if AJ gets rocked or done by Whyte then EVERYTHING changes.
