Foreman vs Shavers would've been something else.

Sticking with the 70's theme, I'd say FOreman vs Frazier. Even though it was a one-sided destruction, Smokin' Joe is considered to be one of the hardest hitting punchers in the history of the sport.

I think Foreman v.s Shavers would have looked a lot like Foreman v.s Lyle. That's one that WOULD NOT have went the distance. Lol

Great thread. Going back through hw atgs I'd come up with the following: Vitali Lewis, Sanders, and Peter belong on there. Wlad Haye Peter. Lewis Tyson Rahman Bruno Golota. Tyson Bruno Ruddock. Foreman Frazier Lyle. Marciano Louis.

Yea man. Both hard hitters but furthermore, both had granite chins and both didnt know you could step back! As you can imagine, it was that mouthwatering.

I think I remember hearing one of the commentators saying their fight recorded the highest number of punches throwin in a single heavyweight bout.

Yup, but Rahman managed to hang onto the ropes so Sanders was penalized the KD alone, much to his disgust lol.
