Haye would knockout both Klits bros and Lewis at the sametime with one left hook so i don't know what the rest of yall are talkin bout.
Nah, not really. He can't deliver it from angles, neither does he throw it to the body at all. I would actually rate James Toney's left hook much, much higher. Wladimir DOES have a very powerful short left hook, but that's all.
He has a very powerful short left hook, it's powerful even when he hooks it off the jab, but it looks stiff.. like Kessler's left hook off the jab. Speaking power, he's up there. Speaking using it skillfully, he's not even close to the top.. IMHO. And I am a huge fan of his.
:nono Wlad has 2 basic left hooks that he throws, one is a hook off the jab which is less powerful but has that element of surprise & the other is a planted, more conventional type left hook which is more powerful but a bit easier to defend against.
You hit it on the head there, when he uses it it's powerful. But he does not use it as skillfully as a guy like James Toney.
