Hard to imagine that so much smaller dudes do that much better job against bigger and heavier named hard hitter...
I recall Mike Tyson and Frank Bruno took a psi test and Bruno punched remarkably harder than Mike.:deal
i have read this a few times on forums, i guess its true as mike wasnt an extremly heavy puncher like a shavers, foreman or tua.
Tyson was accurate. He knew where to hit you and in his day, he would hit you with three punches in less than a second. Say he wasn't the hardest hitter, three 1000 psi punches in one second placed perfectly will ring anyone's ears.
Wlad not harder then forman,,,,don't believe it. when he lays down his leather you got to have a jaw like peters, brewster or byrd to be standing......NO way, wlad punching power is amazing. Look at his fights, once these boxers taste his jab, then cover up an don't throw punches,,,he makes the division look under-rated.........
Harder than any punch Wladimir throws? Why, because it has a catchy name? He couldn't KO Lewis, Morrison or Tyson with it.
When was the last time James Toney scored a knockout or even a knockdown at heavyweight with his left hook ?
Now it is true that he didn't KO Tyson with it, because he hit Tyson with it. He didn't catch Lewis or Morrison flush with the Ruddock Smash, if he would've.. well.. both Lewis and Morrison would've been knocked the **** out.
Aye well, I was talking about the one who is technically better with the left hook, not the more powerful. Anywho, Wladimir is up there in terms of power, but he's definitely not better than the likes of Toney in terms of using it from angles.
Wladimir KLitschko has the best , shortest and quickest left hook KO punch in todays heavyweight scene.. Best example was the stiff 8 inch left hook he slammed Charles Shufford with at Mandalay Bay .......... he almost disguised it behind the right cross....
