Gerald Mclellan faced them both, just watched all 3 fights and still can't believe the bombs landing on geralds head and body.
    But who hit harder ?

Jackson,he smacked down Herol Graham knocked him out cold before he hit the floor,Benns never done that so i`d give Jackson the vote as the hardest puncher.

Jackson was definitely a more concussive 1-punch hitter, even up at mw.

    jackson easily.

benn's power at 168 is fairly overrated.

    Jackson, not even close.

Benn was a harder hitter at MW in truth - either that or he relied more on his power at 160 before he became a boxer under Jimmy Tibbs.

benn could have knocked graham clean out, especially with the extra weight .

Lots of fighters could have knocked Graham out - the hardest part was getting to him.

Probably only Whitaker of that era was harder to tag.

absolutely. graham may well have proved to be too tricky a puzzle to solve for nigel had they ever shared a ring.

doubt it myself . graham unfortuneatly came up short everytime he stepped up for a world title. benn did not. he would have caught him eventually , and then pretty much lights out .

Benn vs Graham would have been the most intriguing of the British MW/SMW battles of the early 90's, had it happened.

Benn was schooled bad by Michael Watson, but Graham was iced by Frank Grant - a domestic level fighter with much lower power than Benn.

benn did get battered by watson but he was so one-dimentional at that point , he slwoly improved from then on culminating in the mclellan performance. that nigel benn would have hunted down herol graham and took him out.
