Gman. But it doesnt really clear it up. Fought JJ twice, KO'd him in 5 and 1, was never hurt, down or in trouble.(Apart from a smack in the bollocks, poor ****er). Got stopped by Benn in the 10th, had a head inury and took the knee twice. JJ had more pop IMO.
What caused Gman's head injury? Was it Benn's brutal power maybe. I think yes. However, putting Gerald in a comma this does not prove Benn was a bigger hitter but I dont believe Jackson's power was that much better. They both had amazing punch power a MW.
He took the knee after getting pummled for 10 rounds mate, Nothing to do with a head injury. Both fighters ended up in hospital after that fight..... Benn had to be carried crying into the dressing room and unfortunatly G-man never recovered properly, It's a shame because without that tradgedy the Benn win would have got alot more credit for it
He had a subdural hematoma of the frontal lobe. Thats a head injury. Thats why it looked like he quit, and commentators made themselves look like ****s. He didnt quit, he was dying. Bit of a difference mate. I think Benn should get credit for his performance, he was outstanding.
Id say that was a fair assumption seeing as he was the one hitting him. They did, i just think JJ had more power.
subdural hematoma cause by Benn's power punches. Credit to Gman for taking those shots but most boxers lose due to a head injury as you put it if the fight does not go the distance/ body shot stoppage.
The point I am making is that Geralld for some medical reason was suscpetible to a subdural hematoma but ultimately it was Benn's power punches that exacerbated the situation resulted in Gman no being able to continue and unfortunately put him in a coma. It just sounds like you trying to make out Benn had nothing to do with Gerlad losng that fight.
Fair do's, just ask me then bud. 100% credit to Nige for that fight, thats not what i was trying to say at all. He was immense.
