Spot on, Wilder really only has that right hand. Like you said it has to land sweetly to get the desired effect although it happens in just about every fight. That shot is like a bullet mind and surely is the most devastating punch in HW history. George Foreman was just a destroyer, his punches were much slower than Wilder's and easier to prepare for. That doesn't matter much as George was that strong each and every shot was sheer brute force, jabs, hooks, uppercuts it doesn't matter. They all broke and busted you up no matter where they landed. The likes of Tyson, Shavers, Wlad and Lewis were all degrees in between. Wilder and Foreman though are the furthest apart in the spectrum and both go down as the biggest punchers in the division for me.
Whoever has the most KO/TKO wins over ATG/HOF competition. It's certainly not Wilder. Who has he stopped that's worth talking about? He hasn't put on a single performance like Foreman absolutely beating Fraizer across the ring. THAT is power.

No he did not. It only seems that way cause back then the gloves had less padding on them, and thus the force of the impact was bigger.
all on that list were terrific punchers, but you forgot guys like Dempsey, Baer, Louis, Patterson, the Big Cat, and a few others, but as for the list, it really is easy. As hard as Foreman and Frazier, Lyle, and Tyson and all the others hit, it is FACT NOT OPINION that Earnie Shavers is the hardest puncher of all time. It was measured, and no boxer's punch has ever been measured as hard as Shavers'. It's funny too, he was one of the less intimidating fighters of all time.
Foreman did hit hard with every single blow, he had heavy hands, wilder needs to land his straight right hand
Shavers. As hard hitting as Vitali, Frazier and Rocky were they shouldn't be on the list someone like Tua hit a lot harder.
