No doubt Vic has good power but i think its over rated, He hasn't knocked anyone out in 4 or 5 fights, Ever since he went up in weight he hasnt been knocking guys out.

Infact he has never knocked a guy out at Bantam weight, all his Ko's have been at super Fly

 

not sure what the difference is with P4P and Overall P4P I thought P4P was overall


anyway i think Vic. I think the heavies look better in this regard because of there KO's but i think that the chin of a lightweight and a chin of a heavy are closer then the punching power of the 2 weights so a heavy is going to have more KO's

 

P4P negates divisions and size so I don't include HW. Tyson was a rare p4p HW puncher

Both at super fly, Im not having a go at him at all, Just think if he was such a monster puncher he could have taken it up one weight class

 

he has also fought guys with pretty sturdy chins since moving up... Mares, Perez etc aren't known to be particularly chinny. He was hitting Perez with ****ing bombs... you could hear how cleanly they were connecting

 

Do u think had the fight gone on that Vic would have stopped him late rounds?
I couldnt beleive he was still standing actually

 

Agree with Vic, I also would not want to take a clean punch from Katsidis either.

as Vic has claimed in recent fights he's been trying to box more than bang, so if he's back to banging, then I predict a a return to KO form, ah or maybe some losses as he himself gets clocked when throwing a looping left. . . .esp if he get a Donaire rematch, as much as I'd love to see him get revenge.

 

I'd go with Vic, Banging Ben, Leapai, in no particular order.

 

I voted for Vic as well, but that highlighted bit u have said is a bit misleading, are you trying to say that Vic was not giving his all as far as punch power was concerned in those fights (12rds) where he concentrated more on boxing :huh:huh

Vic puts a spin on things after every fight, especially the losses.

 

Yeah i know, but even if Vic put on 50 Kgs and was walking around at a heavy, he'd still pack one hell of a punch!

Unorthadox style, but he makes the most out of his hip movments and footwork when throwing punches...

 

Im surprised that nobody has mentione Katsidis so far.

Thats not to say that hes the biggest puncher p4p but hes definatley got to be up there in my opinion.

I must say it was great to see Alex spar with Michael, he has come along way since his fight back in 07 with Nathan .. P4P in Australia - Alex, Greeny, Katsidis and Geale goes alright too.
