problem with Kats is that he has an odd punching technique that zaps a lot of the potential power... he has a tendency to telegraph his punches, he often throws slap punches when he gets carried away and often doesn't set his feet

the last time i saw him throw P4P big punches was against Kevin Mitchell, his technique was great! Since then he doesn't seem to throw with the same patience and authority for some reason

exactly... its a really bad habit that he never really grew out of... its like he turns his wrist over just before the punch lands or something. Getting power that way has got to be almost impossible. With a proper trainer like Steward he could have been a Miguel Cotto type fighter... strong, athletic, aggressive, come forward style with well timed punches and a relentless body attack.

On a domestic level Todd Kidd said Alex Ahtong could punch, and his one punch KO's of Brownlee, Casey Hannan and Jimmy James show he hits extremely hard..

    speed x mass = power/force
    speed x mass + accuracy = KO

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

i remember people going nutty when they saw his 26(26)-0 record

i remember sitting in the pub watching him fight Dirrell and some loud mouth was telling me Oganov would win in the first round and was already the undisputed heavyweight champion

i was so angry, confused and tired that i just nodded my head and watched him slink off after round 2; but not before his girlfriend said "Todd it says he is super middleweight and he isnt champion"

katsidies is more of a take a few give a few back ... no real stopping power... his heart and his chin is what keeps him going...has a decent work rate...likes to slog it out.... against a decent boxer will always lose

He does that when he throws his right hand, i think its all due to having an injury to that hand, and being plagued by it.
