Punching power takes a combination of strength in the correct muscles, mass, and leverage. Factoring all of that and analyzing many boxing films, I think Lennox Lewis is a good candidate with his right. Now p4p is a different story and something that never really interested me.
ya know x out my vote for wells. because if he was one of these guys then he would have been a better pro.
The Mighty Atom or The Ghost With A Hammer In His Hand {the clue is in his nicknames} was nearly always knocking out men 'bigger' than himself, and would have to be considered as one of the hardest punchers of all time.
Hagler over Hearns? Hearns was ko'ing and dropping people easier than Hagler at Hagler's own weight for a start. Pryor wasn't a real big hitter either, someone like M. Spinks hit multitudes harder.
