The classic, impeccable master technician, Harold Johnson vs the relentless, tenacious bulldog Dwight Qawi. 15 rounds, it goes without saying, for the lightheavyweight championship of the world. Who wins it?

Qawi lacks a monster dig and I think Johnson was skilled enough to use his own strength versatility and keep Qawi off his chest enough to win a decision. Like Mike Spinks, Johnson had a cultured left hand. His jab would be the sharp tool to counter act Braxton's constant head movement and defensive radar.

    Hard fought 15 rounds this.

Excellent match I think.Think Johnson grossly underrated. His record against heavyweights is excellent .Beat Eddie Machen and,I think,Nino Valdes. His skill and his punch keeps Qawi off,as Flea man said Johnson on points.

Johnson at his best wins a clear decision...but Qawi would be pressing hard. If Johnson cannot get respect, he could be in for a rough night. But the Johnson who beat Doug Jones was masterful...but the Johnson who lost to Pastrano (disputed) might be pushed to the limit, and maybe over the cliff...

Johnson would have outboxed Qawi..but it wouldn't have been easy. A hard fought 15 rounder, like Flea said. I think that if Michael Spinks can execute the jab and move style and outbox Qawi, then the master technician Johnson most certainly would have.

I'd favour Johnson to outpoint him certainly but wouldn't at all be surprised if Qawi takes him out. Lesser men than Dwight have done so.
