Most likely: Patterson wins a close 15-round decision, perhaps 8–7 or 9–6.
Johnson winning a decision wouldn't surprise me at all. If he consistently catches Patterson coming in, controls the pace with his jab and refuses to exchange unnecessarily, he could reproduce something resembling his success against Machen.

I don't particularly like a Patterson KO prediction here. Johnson was far too disciplined and defensively responsible to treat him like one of Patterson's more vulnerable challengers.

And interestingly, 1961 Harold Johnson might be a tougher stylistic opponent for Patterson than quite a few actual Patterson title challengers
