    Harold Johnson beat an over the hill Ezzard Charles but how would he do against the Charles on 1948-1949?

    Bump.
    The fight they had was close, both men got rocked.
    Prime for prime, I see educated pressure from Charles and forcing Johnson to engage to keep him off and Charles eventually catches him with something in the trades and forces a stoppage.

    Ezzard's body blows would wear down the tough Harold,and then he could rock him with some of his counters.

    Even Charles at his peak could still drop a decision against Johnson, since Johnson was that good.
