Harold Lederman, Blind, biased or on the take?

My thoughts exactly!!! I was gonna ask too, do you agree with her that Pavlik only won one round of that fight??

 

Really, the scoring for the Taylor/Pavlik fight was horrendous. Had the fight gone the distance, does anyone doubt that JT would've gotten another gift decision?

Yeah he must of got a little message from HBO higher ups to rob the challenger of the championship rounds. Thankfully the judges were not on the same take.

 

I don't even look at Harold's scorecards, which are more of an indicator as to how the judges are NOT scoring the fight than anything else.

He also has the most annoying voice in the world and sometimes i lower the volume when its his turn to speak

 

His "WELL JIM I GOTTA TELL YA, I HAVE JOE SCHMO UP 8 ROUNDS to 2....IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!"

Yeah, that was shocking. There were a couple rounds he gave to Williams that I gave to Quintana but could have reasonably gone to either man. But the 11th, no question Quintana won that round. Neither man was doing that much for the first minute or a half or so, though Williams was doing enough to win it at that point. But then Quintana landed a bunch of hard, effective and flush punches. He unquestionably won that round. I watched the round three times to make sure I wasn't missing something Lederman was seeing.

 

I had the Pavlik - Taylor fight 4 rounds to 2 for Taylor going into the 7th

Lederman has been wrong in a lot of fights, not just this one. I think it has maybe to do with bias, since Williams was favored to win, probably in shock that Quintana was beating him. He's just the "unofficial" scorecard, no different if me or anyone else took over his job.

he was doing his part on TV to help guide the audience as he and 90% of the others figured Williams would win. Despite what was blatantly obvious

 

I'd say blind and biased. His scorecard has nothing to do with who wins the fight so why would anyone pay him off
