I can see how ya'll would feel that way, PW wore his ass down. If it had gone 3 more rounds, homeboy would have been out on his feet cuz PW wasn't slowing down and was landing good shots.
It's funny that Lederman(the former judge and the guy thats there to score the fight) and Steward(the respected trainer) scored the fight for Williams and Lampley(the cheerleading play by play ***) and Max Kellerman(the guy who no one likes or respects) thinks Martinez won the fight. ummmmmmm
Its funny that the two you agree with get props and the two you don't agree with are clowns. Bias much? good game.
All of them are clowns but Lederman and Steward are less clowny. Lampley is already known as a cheerleading joke and when has anyone ever said anything nice about Kellerman?
I have to Agree,I also feel Paul won the fight,Lederman had it right in my opinion Hopefully Martinez gets a chance to redeem himself in a rematch Much respect to 2 hell of fighters for putting on a great performance :good
I don't know why people are getting on the HBO guys tonite. I sounded like Lampley wanted to give Martinez his post fight rubdown to me. Steward was going back and forth all night. I agree they can be annoying, but tonite I just thought they were annoying from both angles.
Williams got points for getting his head knocked back over and over again. Martinez is from Spain and should have known, but he almost stopped Williams in spite of his not having time to train. Pierre Benoist
Possibly, but the fight ended at 12 and for 8 of those 12 rounds I clearly saw Martinez landing the crisper shots including one devastationg right hook in the 1st which dropped Williams on his ass. Sorry to say, but there's no way in hell Williams deserved that decision. Not in my eyes at least. :bart
I will give Harold credit for one thing. While Lamps and Max were calling for a 9 - 9 round, he corretly scored the first round a 10 - 9 in favor of Martinez adhearing to the rules of the 10 point must system. You can't have a 9 - 9 round in that scoring system unless there's a point deduction.
I wish he would have corrected Kellerman about that, cause his scoring of the first was right on, although I would have given the 6th and the 11th to Martinez.
