A good match up, both are about equal but Mosley is a bit faster. He would move & jab to take a UD over fifteen rounds. Shane had trouble with a tall lanky fighter like Forrest, But Weston would be about the same size & would bring out the best in Shane.
I'm pretty sure I do. Does the fight get stopped because of Weston closed eye? I actually think he gave Hearns his toughest fight until SRL 1
Mosley's class at Welter saw him lose twice to ordinary, nervous Vernon Forrest. Weston was technically superior and would give him a tough fight.
Forrest is on par with Weston. And Vernon had a hex on Mosley, the demons go back to their amateur days. Mosley has no trouble with Weston...:good
I seen Weston fight many times live, he was ready to be KO'd by Vito A but a cut opened by a head but made them stop it in Harolds favor, he was a well schooled boxer but Mosley was a better fighter in every area
Weston could win by a close unanimous, or split decison, but I'm thinking Mosley imposes his will on Weston taking a close unanimous verdict.
Yep he did. One of few fighters to take Hearns past 3 before he met Leonard. Insane to think- Hearns was lik 33-0 with 31 KO's (I think) before he fought Sugar Ray, but as a amateur he had around 14 stoppages with well over a hundred amateur fights.
Arguably Weston is your better schooled fighter, but Mosely is far more talented, dynamic and problably stronger. I like Mosely to win an inside battle and take a very convincing decision.
I could honestly see Weston winning a decision over Mosley in a nailbiter, but he would have to be at his best, Mosley 's speed is no joke.
