How can you not understand. The GB team picked the best team. One of them got injured. By this point Haroon is on the Pakistan time.

Selby beats the English fighter, and Haroon beats Selby. This doesn't prove the GB selectors wrong at all, it just means that on this one instance he beat Selby. If he did it consecutively and displayed himself to have a good form then they'd select him. He didn't do this.

It's getting to the point where I am beyond reading your posts. You contribute very little to the forum in way of actual meaningful discussion and seem only to make biased posts with no ability to understand why they are flawed.

 

if the khan-selby fight was scored on around by round basis its 30-27 to sleby all day long, the amateur scoring is horrific, saying that well done to khan, he certainly isnt anything near his brothers level

 

I don't see what's particularly wrong with his statement, or what's anti-British about it. He wanted to beat a Brit to prove that he was worthy of a place on the team, which he did. Considering I've read on these forums that he's absolute shite, and wouldn't win jack all, his performance has been great.

 

Disappointed to see Selby hardly bothering to touch gloves with Khan. Did he even talk to the media?

Calm down Lazarus. One win doesn't prove that Khan deserved to go in the first place does it? Fair play to him though, he found a way to compete and has guaranteed himself a medal.

He had worse form than those selected, how do you dispute this?, You are saying you would of picked someone who was performing less than another person, why?

 

Why are the Khan loonies even going mental over a countback win? On another day it could so easily have gone the other way. And besides, its the Commonwealth games not the Olympics anybody can medal in this crap.

It's pathetic really. GB made the right decision picking Yafai, he got injured, Haroon already decided to fight for Pakistan (which he was right to do IMO) so they picked another replacement. Get. a. grip. There is no giant conspiracy or agenda, the right decisions were made and an unfortunate scenario came about here.
