Rob McCraken (sp) is a ****? He seems to be one of the top men in British boxing (amateur and pro).

The facts are, Khan lost in the quarters at the ABAs and was ranked 9 by Boxing News in their most recent rankings. That tells you the decision not to pick him was justified.

Let's see Khan fight Yafai, we'll see what happens then.

What does it prove? His form was far worse than the likes of Stubbs going into the selection process. He didn't deserve to be selected.

Credit to him for doing well at the tournament, but it doesn't prove he deserved to go. Nobody would have selected him on the basis of form.

That doesn't give himt he right to go mouthing off and being anti-British and generally a childish little **** about the whole issue.

He's only got himself to blame for not being selected because he didn't perform well even, and now he's throwing his toys out of the pram.

He's being a twat, pure and simple. And you need to get your ****ing tongue out of his arsehole Lazarus.

Then fair play to him, he's proved a point. But Lazarus is being very ****ish about this which is really not like him.

Lazarus is a bit of a **** anyway. You have to be to come on a forum to primarily fanboy one particular fighter.

Nothing anti-British about his comments, you're reaching. He already said he didn't want to box for Pakistan in the Olympics, because it wouldn't feel right. Very anti-British.

I don't think you are understanding the term proving wrong.

Proving someone wrong is when you do something to show that someone was incorrect in their judgement or decision. How does winning a single boxing match change the fact that his form was not as good as the rest.

Had they not picked him because they felt he couldn't handle the pressure or didn't think he was experienced enough then perhaps in winning a medal he would prove them wrong, but that wasn't the reason. He wasn't picked because he wasn't performing well enough. Winning one match doesn't change this.

To be fair to Khan he just beat a two time European Bronze medalist, Selby is no mugg. I wonder why he hasn't shown this form in the past. As others have said I would be interested to see how he would do against Yafai.

Hmm I'm pretty sure race is a big deal to you Khan fans. Hence why all of your 500 posts seem to be on Amir Khan, and now Haroon Khan. Strange coincidence maybe.

Have you got a link for McCracken's quote? You could have took it out of context for all we know.

 Richie Woodhall's just seen Azuman Nelson in the crowd and got a hard on (judging by his voice ).

What a lousy set of rankings, 9th guy beats 3rd guy.
