So even if Amir does get ko'd in Dec, Haroon will inhertit his idiot fans who follow Khan as if they were supporting a football team.

Please tell me Amir only has one brother. This **** could go on for years.

Lexar, you are insane. Can you not read. He isn't saying that his achievement is of no value. He is saying his win means nothing in regard to their team selection, because as I said, winning one bout has no significance in regard to his prior form on which selection was based.

Not only is Azumah Nelson there, so is Flint's friend Colin Jones who's in the Welsh corner I think.

So tell me why you have nearly 500 posts on Amir and Haroon Khan.

So you just liked Amir, and then miraculously, Haroon also happened to be a favourite of yours before he even turned pro? Interesting...

Doesn't seem to mean anything to Haroon. All he cares about is that the Britain didn't medal.

So the quotes gone from "win means nothing" to "it doesn't prove anything"?

McCracken didn't say Khan's medal means nothing (which is what you're making it out to be), he seems to be talking in terms of the GB Squad. Quite correct what he said, Yafai is still British number one and Khan's win doesn't change that.

Khan and Yafai should have a box off as soon after the Commonwealth's. Simples.

To be fair that Welsh guy is a two time European Bronze medalist and is the number two for team GB at Bantamweight. Apparently he was weight drained because he was fighting at 2 KG below his normal fighting weight.

Don't attempt to belittle a good achievement. Selby is a good fighter. Not just "some welsh guy".
