I Hope he puts the boot into McCracken at the Olympics! I can imagine McCracken having Haroon Khan nightmares

 

This is getting out of control. A friend of mine, who knows nothing about boxing, just came up to me and said ''Have you heard about Amir Khan's brother? The England team rejected to take him to the commenwealth games because the selecters are apparently all racist. So Khan went with Pakistan and destoryed the England representitive''.

I didn't even bother telling him that this was a complete load of rubbish. I just said Oh man that's awful.

 

to be fair,the scoring in the fights is utter utter shite,ive watched at least 5 fights which on a points system would of gone the other way,not this stupid button clicking system.
according to some on here,(obviously dirty asian hating racists like the english selectorsatsch)the fight was a draw and went to count back,anyone got a link to the fight?
harroon is not ****,he just aint that good,for the english squad,honest,he aint that good

 

He does not want to continue as an amateur as some of the above posts are stating incorrectly. He will be turning pro asap.

 

Iv tried to look for proof on the web as he been getting funding in the Uk.

 

**** me you are in love with the Khans. Insinuating he wasn't picked because of race is pathetic and it is hinted at in several of your posts. He wasn't picked because he had done **** all and the ABAs are the testing ground for hopefuls trying to make the cut. Khan competed in the 2010 ABA's and did not make it to the quarter finals.

In contrast the lad picked ahead of him originally was Khalid Yafai who won a silver medal at the European Championships.

Yafai seems to have managed to avoid the racism of the British set up eh?

So **** off the whole team and all the boxers in it, because Khan's little brother was not picked ahead of a silver medal winner, and after failing to make the quarter finals of the ABA's.

Pathetic.

 

He thought he could get in on the basis hes Amir Kons brother.

So let's break this down...

Selby makes some gimpish comments about Khan before his fight with Haroon, and gets beaten. High on his victory, Haroon has a bit of a rant. Which considering Selby's comments beforehand, and Khan being a young pup, I can completely understand. Regardless of how good Haroon actually is, a fighter himself will always overestimate his standing amongst his peers.

Problem is, Haroon's comments bring into question McCracken and the GB team's selection process, which RM calmly (and correctly) defends. Yafai is number one, but an injury means he doesn't travel to Delhi. A replacement fights instead (who isn't Khan, as he'd already defected, and his form probably wouldn't have warranted it against others anyway)

In summary:
Khan got carried away (He's just a kid though)
McCracken picked who he considered the better fighter.
Selby came across as a bit of a tit and created a storm in a teacup.

 

I hope he turns pro and gets sparked out. Stupid little ****.

 

A lot of you pugs are hypocrities! I will tell you why. You go on to say you've lost respect for the Khans etc, they are slagging off the British set up blah blah blah. But the amount of **** that i've seen Amir get over the years from BRITISH fans, are you surprised they are now venting against Brits??

Khan when he turned pro was a proud brit, he wore the Union ****ing jack on his shorts and put his arse on the line for British boxing fans. Many of you turned on him, and he began coming out with things like he is shown more respect in the states, says he may well box more out there, simply because they recognise his talent and do not label and slander him in the way I have seen British fight fans do.

Then it was his brother's turn to cop a load of abuse, saying he's turned his back, should go live in Pakistan etc etc. You all crap your pants when he dishes the **** back on his twitter. Get over it!

For whatever reasons Khan never got the support the likes of Calzaghe, Froch, and others had received from British boxing fans, so why now question the Khans loyalty to British boxing?? when the sport they serve and the fans they fought for, turned their backs on them en masse? Haroon looks to be getting much of the same, simply because he chose to keep busy and represent Pakistan.

If you guys are gonna give them ****, expect it to come right back. Don't cry and ***** about it, if you are gonna dish it out you better learn to take it.

You and Lexar are in the wrong place, this is a boxing discussion forum, you two seem to think it's an Team Khan fan club forum where Amir can do no wrong, and anyone showing criticism is clearly insane and doesn't recognise Amir Khan as P4P#1
