Why would anyone search through HomoJerome's posts?

He was probably on a par with Lazarus as being the worst regular poster I've come across..... about level with Zakman and Rico.

Plus he was a fan of Audley Harrison. Little else needs to be said.

 

Yeah pretty much this except it was the welsh lad Andrew Selby who got picked instead of Haroon and for good reason up to that point Haroons biggest amateur title was a junior aba whereas Selby was coming off a bronze at the European championships and he only beat Selby on countback so it really does'nt prove much.

 

Selby wasn't picked ahead of Khan. There is no British team at the Commonwealth games. Tommy Stubbs was the English representative who was beat in the first round by Selby.

 

i mean really who gives a **** about goon khan???.....

:deal Well said. After Kal Yafai got injured they put Tommy Stubbs up a division and isnt really suited to it but still had better form than Haroon who had done nothin at senior level up to or after the games. Kal Yafai might just medal at the Worlds/Olympics hes levels above Haroon Khan who to be fair over-achieved at the Commonwealths with his bronze. Kal woulda been as close to a shoe-in Gold as u can get in boxing

first time i saw yafai was on the senior ABA's a few years back, i dont think i've seen someone get outclassed in an ABA final like he did with the kid, i was surprised how bad he looked in the last olympics though, he got frustrated because the cuban kept holding.

 

Khalid Yafai recently won gold in the Felix Stamm tournament think it was last week in Poland and his younger brother Gamal won bronze.
