Not a fan of wing chun after boxing, I belive Olympic wrestling is the most effective art, I train that aswell as Brazillian Jiu Jitsu for the ground game.

Not good at Muay Thai at all, kicking isn't my strong point if I'm honest but that boxing is very effective for Street situations imo

Yes wing chun isn't very good unless you hav trained from a young age from a competent master who is from a credible lineage.

Muay thai is brutal and effective if you have strong legs. Kicking is one of my strong points.

Don't generate that much power in my hands in boxing, but hopefully that will improve with more practice and focus on power exercises.

I agree on the wrestling and jitsu, but for me personally the grappling system doesn't appeal to me.

I don't think I would enjoy or have the patience to practice it.

Yeah Bjj requires alot of time amd dedication to see any breakthrough, I enjoy wrestling however Because it's a explosive sport and suits me because I am good sprinter and enjoy working my fast twitch.

I just don't have the flexibility for thai. However I am considering moving to the far East for 12 months amd could hopefully pick it up more on that part of the world.

    Are you a mma fan?

Good stuff, it's great if you can train in the far East. A friend did mauy thai out in Thailand to get in shape and loved it.

Not a fan of mma, too violent for me, can't even watch it. I don't like that level of brutality to be honest.

Fair enough, however studies have proven boxing is actually more detrimental to your health.

Studies have shown footballers can suffer long term brain damage through the impact of heading the ball just as likely as a boxer.

But I know which sport I'd feel safer playing.

There are health implications in every sport, but mma, you are likely to get cauliflower ear, seizures and come out a bloody mess after each fight.

Horses for courses. I prefer boxing, less brutality unless there is a mismatch and the referee doesn't stop the fight when it needs stopping.

The most dangerous thing I see within MMA is the weight cutting, there are guys who go to my gym who are cutting 7kg on fight week, that is complete madness lol.

I do feel most MMA shows are much more evenly matched though then the majority of boxing shows. 9 time out 10 these days if you go to a professional show , you pretty much know who is going to win.

Yes that is what I like and respect about MMA. The best fight the best, whereas in boxing it's every other 2-3 years you will see a good big fight and in between only several 50/50 fights with fighters who are still trying to build up through the ranks.

Even the top fighters have taken losses amongst the way.

The real question is would you bang Rhonda Rousey?

That's a dumb question, of course.

Her face and body isn't too masculine like you see in a lot of female bodybuilders and athletes. Plus she looks like fun.
