that's a question within a question - and the first one people should be asking.
the federations are a big, big part of the problem in boxing and while they are allowed to exist and break boxing into fragments as they wish then nothing will change.

they aren't just greedy and self-indulgent, they set the tone for how the sport is manipulated by everyone else involved.

Anybody who knows boxing knew that Harrisons only chance of winning that fight was by KO.
Had he gone out guns ablazing firing str8 Ls and R hooks, he probably wouldve got countered and stopped, but at least he wouldve made a show of himself.

The whole idea that he should have his purse withheld is preposterous and done simply to appease the ******ed public.

If Haye Harrision 2 happens the crying sissies will pay double/whatever they are told to pay.

What you saw that night was Harrision Haye.

ye,if you paid for it your a fool, harrison the already millionaire conned you all again.

i laughed so hard when he finally freaked out at the weigh in and tried to still act tough and not give interviews.

and dont say haye lied,he said all along it would not be competitive unless fraudley fought out of character.

he said it would be a one sided gang ****,and as harsh as that comment is,he wasnt wrong,he could even let people bet on him for the 3rd round!

he started the fight when he wanted and also finished the fight when he wanted.

if the idiot public demanded the fight, who was he to deny them, especially when the money was so good!.

what annoys me is they slate haye for getting a big money fight, and being honest about it not being a good legacy fight, but a big money fight which he would win easy.

and they somehow defend klitschko for fighting chisora,a fight no one wants,a fighter no one ever knows of!,and hes trying to hype it up as a tough contest that he has a chance of losing!.

    klitschko is a con man.

alteast when haye does end up fighting poor opposition,he really bashes them about, knocks them down and stops them, even retires them.

and he doesnt hype them up as some kind of super opponent.

Harrison fought how he always does...they agreed to pay him going in and they should honor that.

They should keep half his purse and donate it to people suffering from paralysis.

Haye fought a shot guy who was useless to begin with.

Wlads first 10 fights were all against far superior opposition.

whilst i accept ur reasoning, what cant be accepted is the fact the dude DIDNT EVEN ATTEMPT TO FIGHT. i cant accept that Haye's skills were so slick that Harrison couldnt have tried with a modicum of effort....he made none, more to the point, using Harrison's mental imbalance and deluded nature as focus for him "freezing" or whatever rationale anyone chooses, are as deluded as Harrison himself. Im not suggesting hold his purse, im suggesting that if people wish to analyise this fight due to lack of effort on Harrisons part then so be it.

Harrison did exactly what he was put on the fight to do... go down without a fight. give him his money and lets never see him in the boxing ring again.

Im sorry but he didnt throw a punch and fell ovger at the only one he took.

He deserves nothing. Further more his boxing license should be revoked.

While we are at it...they should take hayes purse of him aswel. He clearly didnt try either until the 3rd because he admitted he had a bet on it and had told others close to him to bet on it too.

Thats as good as match fixing in my book.
