Harrison has better power than his record suggests but i don't think he is this awesome power puncher like some are claiming. I would have to see him against some world class fighters to properly judge his power. In my opinion the reason he does not have more KO's at the level he has ben fighting at is not due to a lack of power but more due to his style. He is far to tentative so he doesn't throw many shots and when he does he doesn't commit to the shots fully due to his tentativeness. He still probably has enough power to KO Haye though so it adds some intrigue to this mis match. Another interesting question that could be asked is, 'Is Harrison as china chinned as people claim?'
Which is why I wish he would let his punches go more often. He seemed to be more aggressive than usual in the 2nd Danny Williams fight. He actually ended Williams sooner (round 3) than Vitali K. did (round 8 )... he looked like a rag doll in there :rofl williams has to be one of the sloppiest fighters ever [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9s1PIHQmMWo&feature=related[/ame]
And Vitali is a 1-punch KO artist right because he has such a high KO percentage?! Jesus wept, boxing "fans" atsch EDIT: as has been pointed out - Harrison fights like a pansy, but he has genuine one-punch power. And 20 KOs in 27 fights is actually good for today's heavyweights.
Audley doesn't have to be a puncher, all he has to do is to save the HW division from Haye... That's not too much to ask is it?
I never claimed he was a 1 punch KO artist. I already know his KO's/TKO's happen in later rounds from an accumulation of beatings. I wasn't even attempting to imply that Harrison could even remotely test Vitali. I was just throwing that info out there, plus the added benefit of watching Danny Williams flop around the ring like a clown.
I think you are exactly right and you've just answered the question of the thread. He does have the power but because of who he is he sometimes goes entire fights without using it.
He didnt KO Tyson with 1 punch. il give u a lesson :- Puncher's chance = term given to some1 who has no chance of being competitive but can get lucky with 1 punch, esp if he hits hard.
