I personally agree with this. He is bad publicity for the Sport. I think he is a good fighter but he needs to sort himself out, he has been given alot of chances. I no people are gonna be annoyed at my opinion as they like him and some of you have met him or know him personally, but if a footballer, golfer, tennis player or any other pro athlete acted the way Scott has they would recieve simular punishment. Just because he fights for a living does not mean he can fight and get into trouble outside the ring.
Yeh only couple weeks ago, drink driving or drunk n disorderly again (stating the obvious it was never gonna be Tax Evation lol :think )
Like who...? the only ones I can think of are people like Tony Adams, Merson but they have all cleaned themselves up not gone on to do the same things over and over. I may have forgotten someone though :think
He should be allowed to box if fit. Let the courts deal with the legal side and the BBBofC worry about the boxing side.
Read the statement issued by the BBBofC. Says Harrison is guilty of bringing sport of boxing into disrepute. Suspension to run until 31st January 2009.
I'm not exactly up to speed on the Harrison soap opera but what has he done to merit such resentment and schadenfreude? I thought he just liked fighting in pubs. Not exactly admirable behaviour but he's a boxer not Blue Peter presenter.

I think Harrison is being treated unfairly. Fair enough he is NOT an angel but there have been much worse cases than his in the past. (TYSON ANYONE?) Footballers are by far the worse and get off too lightly with everything. Give the man his licsence back i say.
