Harrison lost his licence after failing to defend against Nicky Cook in late 2006 due to problems making the weight. He has not fought since November 2005 and faces trial next week on a string of charges, including police assault. Insisting his troubles are behind him, he said: "I should be world champion at superfeatherweight within six months." On 13 February, Harrison will find out if his application to have his licence reinstated has been successful. The 30-year-old Scot has admitted to suffering from depression and alcohol problems and was declared bankrupt last July. However, he is back in the gym and has set his sights on a return to the top. "I will take a tune-up fight in March hopefully, then I will be looking to fight for the world title in July," he added. "But I've never felt better and if they offered me a world title fight today, I would fight today. Saw the interview with him on the news yesterday and i have to say he looked to be in good shape and was the healthiest he has appeared in years. Hope he gets his chance at redemption, and a fight with Arhur would be huge up here. He aint finished yet :smoke

When AAA loses to Guzman I think the quartet of Arthur/Cook/harrison and Mitchell could develop into some tasty domestic scraps. The only future world champion i can see from the above listed names though is Kevin Mitchell - if he is managed right...
I don't believe Harrison will ever get back to where he once was, and I never thought he was that good to start with. Arthur isn't exactly top drawer either, but this is what makes the fight so appealing. Will they actually get it on though? Both fighters can continue/restart their careers via a less risky route than facing each other. A loss for either man would surely spell the end.
