All the highlighted (big) ones are nothing that far above "Good". The higlighted ones can certainly NOT be regarded as "great". You fail to mention that many of those fighters were rated so highly because they never knew there would be all the ATGs that came after. For example, how high does Jack ****ing Blackburn rank on the ATG LW list now? Certainly not top 15, never mind #3.
Of course. But you carry on ,you seem to be entertaining everyone. ps Can you sing? How about Straingners In The Night?
yes the lack of film is vitally important. remember Greb could not punch hard enough to break an egg.. also Greb vs Tunney was filmed as was Greb vs Walker and maybe one or two others which im sure Walt Disney has in the collection bought from Big Fights inc.
Blackburn was a great fighter, no doubt. Just check out who he beat, it's easy sometimes. Some of the heavies listed are not great, of course, but a middle/super middle beating cruisers and heavies is notable in understanding his quality. That's obviously why they make the list.
You keep saying this. I don't want to get into a protracted debate with a seeming lunatic, but it's not accurate. Greb has around 50 stoppages, including a couple at HW. He wasn't a puncher, but when you go on and on and on about how he "couldn't break an egg" you kind of add to the overall air of embarrassment surrounding your posts.
