I just want to thank you Mc Vey for bringing these matchups up. When I did it, I was booted. BOOTED. So, I applaud you. PleaEs have a Liston, Louis, Ali, Holmes, Moore, Saad, Spinks M., Braxton 1980-1982, LaMotta, Tyson, Lewis, SMOKIN' JOE thread also. Very interesting. Greb by decision, but Leon (who I really like) wins the drinking and dance OFF THEN gets a ticket driving home while Harry wrecks.:hi:

Leon. Spinks is from the hood, so some of the s**t Harry pulled on others he wouldn't pull on Neon Leon. Spinks by decision, if he's in decent shape.

Leon Spinks is a bit underrated. If he came along at cruiserweight, with good management, a good 20 or 25 fight build up, and cut back on the drugs and booze, he could have been great. Lots of "IFs" I know.
The cherry pick shot at Ali, and the success and celebrity of the win, turned sour on him. Of course, he's to blame mostly, but the situation was kind of strange.
Put it this way : he was a damn good prospect !
And at 200 pounds or less he might have been great.

Harry Greb probably beats him though.
