Greb who I love could not defeat the very strong Kid Norfolk ... I like Sam ... too strong and too good ... although Greb would be a terrific match up ...

According to Boxrec Greb does have a 10 round newspaper win over Norfolk.

Yes that's true and his "loss" was actually a DQ:

The boxing commission suspended both Greb and Norfolk six months for fighting after the bell. The Boston Globe reported that "for the first five rounds, Greb was outclassed." However, according to the Pittsburgh Post, Norfolk charged into Greb, head down, and butted him through the ropes and into the press section in round two. The referee should have disqualified Norfolk, but the fight continued. Norfolk intentionally punched Greb in the groin several times until Harry retaliated, which caused him to be disqualified. The crowd put up a terrific protest and the referee had to flee the ring. The "last two rounds were fought along the foulest possible lines."

Outstanding matchup, no doubt about that, but still, I give it to Langford.

The Greb Norfolk fights are inconclusive at best. To say Greb couldnt defeat Norfolk is giving too much credit to Norfolk who couldnt beat Greb either.

You know for all his strengths and all the story this guy was only 5'6.5" tall and it seems to go right over everyones head, even I had him at 5 or 6 on my ATG list but I am one who will be delving a bit deeper into this. I think we may be just maybe overrating this guy. Food for thought. What do you guys think?
