    Calzaghe TKO.

Greb not liking his indroduction to the years 2000 and whatever.

Calzaghe as strong, faster and more skilled.

I agree, but you have the wrong punchline.

    Greb would defeat Calzaghe.

Greb is probally the greatest fighter at this weight ever. Even better than Jones based on his resmue. He probally tears Calzaghe to pieces with constant pressure and great infighting but Joe would get the better of the exchanges on the outside with his speed.

    Greb UD 12 or 15.

All this Greb **** is pretty ******ed. Its like its some geekdom badge amongst boxing fans: If you talk about him then its obvious proof that you know loads about boxing...

You cannot talk about how good a boxer was when there is no footage of him in an actual fight. You cant compare someone from a totally different era against a modern fighter. ITs just ******ed.

Well, considering somebody's made a fantasy fight thread, we should give a prediction of SOME kind based on evidence, wouldn't you agree?

No, all we have to go off of is his resmue, and his may be the best ever. Also what people have wrote about him that he was an in your face pressure fighter that threw loads of punches. We know he beat Tunney, we know he beat Flowers, Walker, Rosenbloom(and about 5 other hall of famers), and legit good 195 lb fighters. We know he had a great chin (stopped once in over 300 fights) and we know he didn't have explosive 1 punch KO power(only about 50 of his 250 some odd wins were by KO)

The thread was started and we have to go off what we know. Also forums would get lame if you didn't talk about greats from different eras and the "what ifs" of boxing.

You can possibly compare him to people from his day of which there is no visual evidence based on resume, but any more is just not valid. He beat x who beat x who beat x who beat x is not valid logic. Boxing has changed so much since Greb was fighting and with no footage of him actually fighting (all ive seen is some sparring at like 1/4 speed and thats apparently possibly not even him) you cannot legitimately compare him to anyone modern.

    Well, yes.

But a prediction was asked for, and it's rather fun to answer threads like this.

Ok then. Calzaghe beats him easily as hes bigger, stronger and has the benefit of more advanced training methods.

    Sounds good.

Greb destroys Calzaghe based upon far greater dominance of his era, defeating better (filmed) opposition, more experience, and roughly similar size.

Cant really say since there is no footage of greb, but Calzaghe's resume is not even a fraction of what Greb's resume is.
