Harry Greb vs Tito Trinidad

Greb kills little guys like Camacho and Whittaker, Tito is NOT a MW,,, has WHAT credentials as a MW. I agree that Tito had power, in fact he hit harder than greb, Tito may have Mickey Walker power, but how did Mickey fare with a true MW champion ??

 

I agree he may beat that version of Whitaker. But Camacho in his prime? **** that. Camacho was too fast and versatile for a man like Greb to handle. Far from "KILL". that's certainly just disrespectful to the Macho Man himself.

Furthermore, It's only fair to say that Trinidad had more one punch KO power then Greb. I mean that's just how it is. Greb wore people down with attrition. I have yet to see any footage of Greb to suggest he would beat a knockout artist similar to Tito.

Greb to me is like welterweight Ray Robinson and even prime Jimmy Young. I can't rate him properly with no footage of his prime or even any AVAILABLE footage in greb's case... Only until recently have I found significant fights of Young in high quality to judge his greatness. Now we assume that Robinson is such a great fighter

 

Jimmy Young is an ATG.

 

I was comparing them footage wise. No one calls him an atg. i have only found like 8 fights of young. better example would be anifowoshe or Rosario.

 

Where do you rate him on the HW list?

Top 40? 30?

 

Well that depends on how you see his legacy. if you have him winning those fights that he got robbed of. After the norton fight he lost his drive due to substance abuse and issues with his wife.

I have watched and scored the Ali, Norton, Dokes, (and seen short clips of the second shavers fight) and I'm convinced he deserved to win at least those first three.

So he would rank just out of the top 20 for me. top 30
