I think sometimes Mendoza must be an elaborate troll with the ridiculous posts he makes.

 

I thought the Norfolk fight was debatable with a slight lean in Greb's favor via newspaper accounts.

 

As McGrain kindly noted, Greb met Flowers three times, my comment that you tried to apply to their second fight was actually in regards to their first fight. Which should be clear to anyone who took the time to read that thread and then quote me.

 

That would require competency in reading,do not assume that is a given in this case.:-(

 

Darn it ! Posters should understand that Kid Norfolk was
10-15 pounds heavier than li'l ole Harry in their bouts.
Would anyone burden a Marvin Hagler to fight someone like Mathew Sadd spotting him 10-15 pounds and never mentioning
what Greb faced time and time again...? Greb's resume was so
amazing we take his exploits for granted...

Well ND bouts are just that, newspaper decisions were never official and you could get two papers saying the exact opposite, they are a guide but then again many so called decisions by judges are a joke too, many times I see fights that are really close and to say either won the fight is just wrong,, there should be ten times more draws in records than there is, so many "wins" by fighters who never even hurt their opponent. But the fact remains no newspaper decision ever counted as an official result and that means the whole idea of ND bouts was a joke of the highest order. Thankfully not every country had ND bouts, most in fact never did.
