Harry Wills fought 43 fights from 1919 to 1925 who really had a chance

Whatever. Dempsey did not fight him. Kearns and Rickard, two all world hustlers who would pimp their mothers for money would not allow Jack to fight him. This is obvious and indisputable. Spin however you like if that's what gets you off. Doesn't change the facts. No other creditable historic champion ducked his number one contender for as long, especially when that man fought and defeated better fighters. Period. Either your honest about it or full of ****.

Wills did not defeat better fighters than Dempsey during Dempsey's reign ,and it is debateable that he did so before Dempsey's reign
I was referring to what we see when we watch Wills ,and I agree with Dempsey1234 that Wills doesn't look anything special
Is it "the wrong week for you"?:think

    1.
    of, like, or befitting melodrama.
    2.
exaggerated and emotional or sentimental; sensational or sensationalized; overdramatic.

There was no lie, you misunderstood and misread my post.
    It started with post #131:

"Fair enough, here is your quote which I am referring to:

Most fighters no matter how bad always think they are one win away from something, if only given the chance. I cant believe that they go in with the attitudes that they have no chance so lets go thru the motions

I will give you two names, Mike Weaver, Orlando Salido.

I think Wills fought and defeated better fighters in his career as a whole than Dempsey did. And wrong week, for sure my friend ... brutal work week .. however as the expression goes, this too shall pass .. :)

There is a strong argument for the underlined, but not whilst Dempsey was champion imo.

Grit your teeth, as Vivien Leigh said,"after all tomorrow is another day".:good
