Greatly enjoying Pollack's second Dempsey book ... only about 100 pages into it but from the very start which is the very start of Dempsey's reign, Wills is front and center .. at the time he was fighting regularly , getting terrific newspaper coverage of his many bouts and hailed by many as the best heavyweight in the world .. at thirty years old Wills was not being referred to as any sort of big, slow, made to order opponent but as a top tier, scientific force who at the time of Dempsey's victory over Willard was already being ducked for a few years ... plenty of first hand coverage ... can't wait to keep digging in ...
