Steve has posted on this thread, twice, albeit in a little more understated fashion than we were accustomed to when he posted as Klompton.

 

I honestly don’t think RockyValdez is Klompton, there are teensy differences on how they act. RV is more civil.

 

He is far more civil as RV than he was as Klompton, though I'm 99+% certain that RV is Steve Compton. He recognised something another poster posted as originally being posted by Klompton several years ago, has also gotten very emotional arguing Mike Gibbons being ranked higher than Tommy Gibbons, citing the views of their peers, and when I started reading this thread, I just knew RV would post in support of the view that Dempsey or his team avoided Wills (a view I agree with).

Not that it's a big deal, whilst Klompton was a highly unpleasant poster, that betrayed a very insecure man behind the keyboard, he has a huge amount of data, a wealth of access to primary sources, including footage that's not in the public domain, and he's shared plenty of information on this site that was new to me, so I'm glad he's still about.

 

You don’t think multi banned returning posters might be under stipulations?

He’s fine by me, he’d have a solid disagreement at times but he’d move on and forget it.
