In 1919 Wills by decision or late tko.

Given what we now know about Willard's subsequent decline, and the fact that Wills was probably at his best at this point, my gut tells me that Wills would have won.

Willard probably puts up a better fight than he did against Dempsey, due to Wills more cautious approach.

The Willard of Havana might be too much for Harry!

Wills wins but it takes him around 7 rounds in this case. And Willard may even score a flash kd along the way .

Perhaps, but presumably we are talking both as they were in 1919.

Would the Willard of Havana be too much for Dempsey?

What's so special about the 1915 Willard? He was losing to the likes of Tomato cans rodel and macmahon. Along with smith. Both men Langford knocked out in 1914

I think Dempsey and Wills still easily beat Willard over 15 in 1915

Wills. Different level of accomplishment. And his assets are not going to show over 15 against Harry.

I think Willard in his prime would be a tough night for anyone, especially in a longer contest, I think people forget how old he was when he lost to Dempsey.

15 rounds, I think Wills has this, I wouldn't totally write off Willard in a longer contest though

This isn't a longer contest. 15 rounds. A boxing match, not a marathon

They both fought in longer contests, and it likely would have been had they actually fought, so it seems a very relevant question.
