Prime wills was a long athletic boxer puncher by the sounds of it, lyle did not do too well against pure boxers like young, ali and bugner. of course lyle beats the harry wills uzcudun KOd on film but I never saw wills in his prime. It would be like saying lyle beats zorra folley just because mac foster beat him when he was old. I think wills has made more impresion on the history of the sport than lyle so I go with wills.
The fight is reduced to an ugly, mauling brawl which Wills gets the better of due to his greater experience.
