OK Harvey Dock has been appointed referee for Haney Loma. Dock has always been good IMO hopefully he isn't the next good referee to be corrupted by Nevada as Dock is usually an East Coast referee. I am glad they are giving Dock a big fight instead of the usual suspects in Vegas.
Whats he like with fighters that like to clinch? Devin is a jab and grab master, makes Wlad look like Pernell Whitaker
Your question is meaningless considering that Loma is very good at avoiding clinching. Devin Haney will not be able to clinch him up, and even when he tries to do so, he will pay for it. Loma is sharp there, not only with legit boxing but also with dirty tactics. Just look at the twelfth round with Teo Lopez, Loma was get busted up real bad and eating a good few two pieces with extra sides from Teo and then he starts butting heads like a billy goat. And that was the only damage he was able to inflict that night and he still did it. I got either Loma winning a dominant shut out with Haney running all night and maybe landing a few spicy looking, but inconsequential combos OR Loma stopping Haney in say 8 rounds.
Not a good ref man i just remember constantly warning the one guy who wasn't even fouling while deducting points of the fighter who wasn't even clinching, just cant remember the matchup.
Im confused bro, regardless of how good Loma is at avoiding clinching he is going to get clinched regardless. The ref will have a big impact on the way the fight goes down for sure. Loma still wins but he is going to be in there with a guy who likes to spoil fights
