Has 24/7 Changed Anyone's Views on Martinez or Chavez Jr...

I know the point of 24/7 is to get everyone an inside, personal look at these fighters. We've seen Mayweather, Cotto, Pacquiao many times, but this is new for us to see Martinez and Chavez Jr. Do you guys look at any of them any different or still feel the same way about them?

I thought it was the best 24/7 in a long time. A lot better than the bore that was Ward / Dawson. Only one that might beat it was the Mayweather / Hatton.

Hopefully the winner will face Paquiao or Mayweather as every boxer that has been on 24/7 (apart from Calzaghe / Jones obviously) has gone on to fight one or both of them.

Also I didn't like that daddy Chavez got drunk and tried to break into Martinez's house and how Jr tried to speak for Spain. No one in Spain even knows who you are so shut the **** up.

They managed to convince me Julio Jr led a fairly interesting life growing up.

There's much more that can be done on Sergio's story. He lived in Latin America, then Europe, and finally America just to box. I hope to see him on some more 24 7s for this reason and others. He possibly has the most interesting story in all of boxing as of now. It's like one great adventure that managed to turn out well.

    Same for me.

I respect the fact that Jr. is trying to make a legit name for himself in boxing, but he was silver spooned the whole way up, where as Martinez had the not so easy (not saying it was exactly easy for Jr. to get to this point, but it was easier for him than Martinez) route to the top.

I want to see Martinez outclass Jr badly. I'm sure Jr will be back, but on fight night this time, I think Jr will be the lesser fighter.

showed chavez jr. would hit anything in a skirt. he practically comes from royalty and his gf is not all that. she's maybe a 7 out of 10.

martinez is either a closet queen or he's having too much fun as a bachelor and refuses to get married.

watching them work out i'm more and more sold martinez got this fight sealed.

also didnt' know chavez sr. was a smoker. wonder if he smoked during his fighting days.

What was all that about Martinez's house being vandalized? By whom? Chavez/Top Rank fans, gang members, what? They sorta brushed over that rather quickly.

Martinez reminded me of the warm, good-natured personality which made me a fan of his at the beginning. Whilst Chavez was a bit Mayweather-like with not only his trash-talking, but his training at odd times, too.

An ok, average 24-7. Thought it would have been better.

Yes, that was... worrying. I wonder who holds more sway in that camp, Roach and Ariza or Chavez Jr. & Sr.? Those backyard mitt-workouts were sort of bizarre. Roach even referenced it when he said he gets calls at 2am to come train.

    Tons of stuff

-Martinez is a weird dude. Refuses to swim, never seen around women.
-Martinez came from EXTREME poverty, also didn't know he lived in spain
-Martinez has had one hell of a roller coaster life

-JCCjr did not have such a great upbringing, his father was obviously out of control. He was a lost rich kid.
-JCC SR smokes cigs and has stuff done to his face
-JCC SR was probably a coke head for a long time
-JCC JR seems actually like a nice kid that really is serious about boxing
-JCC jr does not train how a champion should
