this is getting sad now, the amount of people who are continually referring to how would manny take the bombs floyd took and floyd has a steel chin, all based on 2 punches

yeah floyd took the punches but shane puts everything into every punch and if he hits you it gunna be a powerful punch

like all of a sudden for one round mosley had super human punching power, had he not landed noone would be talking about how hard he punches, but when he lands on floyd, all of a sudden mosley hits like dempsey and floyd got an atg chin

yeh mosley has great power and can knock people out with either hand, but cummon, he was smashing margaritos face in with the same shots he hit floyd with round after round and margarito just took them as he did cottos punches and mannys

thats an atg chin, not sumin based on

wow he took a punch off 39 year old mosley, what a chin, i doubt manny can stand up to it

there im done, but question is, when has a chin ever been based around 1 fight so much

yeah if he lands on manny maybe he will hurt him, maybe he wont

but people stop going on about it

    enough is enough:verysad:bart:nono

Those two punches certainly aren't proof of Floyd having a good chin. If anything, they're a testament to his cunning recuperative skills and calmness.

I personally think Floyd's chin is one of his lesser qualities. Due to his exceptional defence, there have only been a handful of moments where he's been caught flush by powershots, and in almost all of those moments, he was rocked and stunned badly. This, to me, suggests his chin isn't as good as some make out.

But this isn't a bad thing. In fact, it proves how great he really is. Massive respects to him for being so defensively sound.

    This.
I think he isnt used to taking those heavy hits. If you never felt it before, it will blow you away. After getting rocked, Floyd did everything right and got back into the fight.

You can base hes skill on those punches becAuse throughout hes career hes barely taken any clean shots. ZAb judah got him a few times an even dropped him

Floyd's chin is way overrated on this forum. Both Corley and Mosley have had him dancing the fandango with single shots. I've never seen Pac's legs give way like that since he was an anoxeric teenager.

I agree. Floyd doesn't have a atg chin and Mosley doesn't hit like Dempsey. I believe Floyd has a good chin though. He has been up against to many good punchers. I don't care how good your defense is your going to get hit. He has went up against a good amount of punchers and never been KO or put on his ass. His chin is good.

In that whole video Floyd gets hit clean about 4 times, and all 4 times he's slightly hurt.

Floyd is a master at rolling with punches and partial blocking with his elbows and forearm.

He rarely gets hit with a solid hook,

Seriously, when you need to show a lunging off-balance Hatton jab landing as a statement to Floyd's punch resistance, you've lost the argument before you started.
