just got done watching the paul williams v lara fight and it got me thinking how some fighters can accept the victory when it clearly was not there's.

lara clearly boxed the **** out of pwill in that fight and as the scores were being read out it was immediately clear without even watching the fight that williams knew he had lost and lara knew he had won the biggest fight of his career

now i know it isent the only robbery to happen and not the most notorious robbery (which i feel was whitaker chavez) but has there ever been a fighter who demanded that the judges who gave him the win were wrong and refused to take the win? big props to a fighter who can do that

Boxers have stated that in their opinion they didn't deserve the nod (Toney, Ali, and some others) but I can't recall one actually pushing for a reversal or for the judges to be investigated on his opponent's behalf.

Fighters who may receive a gift won't ever do that, they'll just say things can be settled in a rematch.
