It seems to me once there was a fighter who lost and made no excuses but I can't recall who it was? Anyone?

Seroiusly though...I see where you're coming from...it seems after every fight the loser has a good excuse why.Hell someone guys prepare an excuse before they even get in there (whether injuries sustained in training camp, trouble making weight, ect)

Holyfield after Toney KO'd him "He stood in front of me like I asked him to do and I missed, after awhile he pretty much hit me at will"

I dunno, Mosley claimed he was robbed against Wright in the rematch, and the first loss to Wright was because felt like he had "a ****** on his back". He also blamed the first Forrest loss on the headbutt and said he won the rematch.

Jack Dempsey was known as a gracious loser. Riddick Bowe was very gracious after losing his title in a close loss to Evander Holyfield. Tommy Hearns was gracious. I think he did say he disagreed with Davey Pearl's stoppage, but that's not really an excuse.

It's common to hear from fighters that " I lost to better fighter tonight". But you can't help them if they mention the factors why they lost. They have to HYPE themselves up for the next fight.

Holyfield has been a good example of not making excuses to credit the fighter.
