I’m talking 126 and 147, I can only think of Pacquiao and Armstrong.

Marquez? He was champion in both weight classes at one point.

Marquez never got a belt at 147. Unfortunately before the 4th fight Pac was robbed of his WBO belt against Tim Bradley. Marquez lost against Bradley for the belt..

Mikey has a real chance to do it. And believe it or not, a quarter of the posters here see Mikey as nothing special and just a basic guy. In a boxing forum no less, not some bar full of drunks.

Ah ok gotcha. I was also thinking of the belt he won against Alvarado but that was the WBO "International" belt, not the actual.

If he picks the right opportunity he could definitely do it. I personally would've preferred to see him at 135 still, at least for a Loma fight.

And you are right about Mikey; he is great at setting traps and manipulating range against fighters, holding the center line. The 'ordinary' aspects of his style are very deceiving, he is quite clever.

Think hes wasting his time at 147.

Theres big fights at 140, which is a good weight for him. He could probably still make 135 at a push.

At 147, hes fighting guys that dwarf him.

Mikey cannot make 140 without draining himself. 135 would be a deadly toll on him now.

    Draining>

    He looks doughy weighing 145.

Even against Broner at 140, he looked undersized.
