Mayweather v Augustus was very good IMO.

Not quite FOTY material, but dissolves the myth that he has never been in entertaining bouts, or that he is boring.

No but it's not a negative thing, it's because he's too good. People who get into FOTY have weaknesses that make the fight exciting.

 

FOTY are very competitive bouts and a lot of action between the two....last fight that was very competitive was Cas I and it did have a good bit of action too.....but i dont think it came close to FOTY.

the burton fight was a decent little rumble from what i remember...?
also, the ndou fight i remember being entertaining.
but nothing anywhere near a FOTY type fight. he's too skilled to get into those type of rucks.

The Hatton fight was his closes fight. It was mostly due to the impact of the sport and the spectacular ko at the end. I remember 99% of esb said it was very entertaining after the fight but once emotions are put away the fight really had no replay value.
