I love Khan fights. That's why I started supporting him, and also because we're the same age (he might be a year older) and both from the north of England. The Khings will be back in force when King Khan conclusively beats Peterson again. No Hatman this time

 

McCloskey bout was boring. In hindsight, and on second viewing, the Kotelnik bout was a very, very good, disciplined boxing performance from Khan.

 

Yep :yep But strangly Khan was soo bored in that fight that he fell asleep himself.

Maidana was flabby vs DV, the same way he was vs corley. Maidana Khan fought was much better (actually in shape). maidana threw alot less and looked very sluggish

 

Maybe but how do you explain the Morales fight?

Morales is way past his best and managed to give Maidana much more than he wanted

 

I should probably revisit the Kotelnik fight after reading some of these posts, but the McCloskey fight that was pants, but probably not Amir's fault as McClosky has an applaingly ugly style and is overrated IMO.

 

Maidana had 7 weeks to train for the fight, you could tell he got tired in round 4 compared to khan fight and he didn't take any punishment either. Maidana normally trains 12 weeks.

most importantly - Morales is boxing god- baddest mother****er on the planet

Have only ever watched it fully the once.

Strange, as it's one of his best wins.
