Has Andre Ward Retired?

The Ward haters are some of the most pathetic on ESB. He's schooled every SMW they've put in front of him. The only one who even gave him a fight was Bika. The Euros practically broke down in tears, they got schooled so badly. Poor Froch will never be the same.

 

But Froch had only ONE of his 5 fights there.

The pampered Ward demanded ALL his fights be in his home country with his shady officials like Jack Reiss. :crybaby

 

You got it backwards. Bute stepped up and publicly said he would go to Oakland to fight Ward, and Ward backed down leaving no choice to Bute but to make offers to the runner-up. Bute is fighting a Ward "leftover" because of Ward's reluctance to fight Bute right away.

Froch was the one coming on stronger at the end and didnt take a bad beating, he lost but he wasnt beaten to a pulp or anything

if Froch wins vs Bute he would be back,,i think Bute wins though

He fought in the super 6 when he was seen as a green prospect. He unified three titles and beat mikel and carl that's two of the best smw's of the post calz era.

If bute beats froch i'm sure we'll see either a unification or a better opponent.

LOL, Ward was in no position to DEMAND anything, his promoter negotiated the fights in the tournament. Plus, its not his fault that 2 of his original opponents dropped out of the tourney.

Perhaps not, but it is a failure that Ward cant find an opponent for may. He dont wanna fight the Dirrell brothers. And he wanted Bute to fight some "decent" before taking him on. Now that was a brillliant move, since Bute included a rematch clause for his fight with Froch. Does Ward plan to wait out two fights in a row? I think the problem is that Ward wanna call the shots since he took out two champs in The Super Six, but it does not do him or his career any good waiting for others to bend over.
