Has Andy Lee's Right Hand Developed into the Most Lethal Punch in Boxing?!

    People are getting a bit carried away...

    If his right hand was that good he would have sparked some of the bums he struggled with like Fitzgerald. Just because he KO'd a hype job (impressively I admit) doesn't make him the greatest puncher in the world.

    Some people come into their own at different stages of their career. That right hand has turned into an absolute rocket launcher. Lee is a lanky white boy. Korobov was almost a light heavyweight.

    Thing is he didnt even throw the right hand with that much power he said as much on Irish radio the other day, and as the reason he didnt KO some of the other "bums" like Fitzgerald is because when Andy fights below par fighters he fights with no fear, and he just isnt as good, he defo fights better against better opposition .

    That KO of Daniels is one the best of all time, absolute peach.

    What happened to the 'Ring magazine has Andy Lee listed from the UK' thread? Funny how some people take everything so serious on here. FTR, I was only playing. It was just a bit of harmless banter, which should've been blatantly obvious to anyone with half a brain. I couldn't give a **** what nationality Lee is or wants to be known as. I like him because he's an absolute gentleman and a hell of a nice guy. I'm not going to like or dislike him (or anyone else) any more or less because he's Irish, English or whatever nationality he wants to be known as. If he wants to be considered Irish that's perfectly fine by me.

    There's nothing wrong with Korobov's chin. Someone with a chin problem would've gone down from a shot like that, never mind the barrage of shots that followed it when he was out of it too. As far as I'm aware, he's never been off his feet amateur or pro (in almost 350 fights). The punch Edwards hurt him with was a peach of a shot that caught him as he was in the middle of loading up on his own. So was the one Lee caught him with too. Lots of fighters would've gone down from those shots. Lee obviously has a lot of power in that right hook of his. He knocked Daniels and Jackson out cold with it before they'd even hit the canvas. One punch KOs like that are very rare at that level.

    He seems adept at landing his right like it's invisible to his opponents, sort of in between Denis Lebedev and Oscar De La Hoya. From what I have seen it seems to be more of a "45" than a proper hook or uppercut.
