So far, he never beat Usyk.

Until proven otherwise : Usyk beats Joshua and should be the favorite in any future fight, unless Usyk is too old.

I see the same fighter, which is someone within the top three guys, more technical than a lot of the power punchers, harder punching than the few more technical ones. He's not quite as tanky as some of the guys built like him, but he's also faster and more coordinated than a lot of those tankier guys. He's going to come up on guys that match up on him well and be in danger-especially when he's not showing poise, even if they're not as good a total package as him. Flawed but elite, sometimes leans more on his boxing skills than others, not a great strategist/thinker, but one who has his moments, and flashes of impressive real-time maneuvering. I think he's always been that guy, basically. In all his wins and losses.

I think he's rebuilt his confidence but we need to see him in with better opposition than Ngannou and Wallin to say if he's improved at all. I don't see anything from him I haven't seen before, if I am honest, but it's still early in his working relationship with Ben Davidson, so who knows what he'll show us from here on out.

Bens finally got him doing what he should have been doing from the beginning.

Being patient if needed and setting up his big shot/s. His game plan was too much around boxing without a set goal in mind with his offence.

Having said that the juries out on improved drug use for me. People improve aspects of their game....always suspect when a 30 plus year old suddenly starts clean knocking people out. His power was laboured at times up until 3 fights ago. Similar to fury in the second wilder fight who suddenly started punching like a mule from nowhere.

Not buying that inexperienced ben has somehow got the secret to getting him clean knocking people out after 2 fights...after 3 or 4 far more esteemed trainers couldnt.

I m a fan of ben as well and all credit to both if it is just down to hard work and know how.

I think he's just consistent. Is he better than he was in the first 1st & 2nd Usyk fight? hard to say because his opposition hasn't been that great. He's been dominant against guys he's supposed to beat.

Given what transpired in the last 6 months, he is undoubtedly Top 3, right behind Usyk and Fury. I actually think he beats Fury and may be the #2 guy in the division.

There were plenty of improvements the bodybuilder just can't take a good punch. Joshua and his coaches said aj was the best version of himself after he smashed Wallin and Ngannou who Fury struggled against, which should be considered impressive performances. He was absolutely in his prime when Dubois cooked him

I am not sure how anyone is claiming that Femi has improved since the Usyk losses.

He has faced 4 guys who are no hopers; Franklin, Helenius, Wallin, and the MMA dude.

He then stepped up back to top 10 world level and was smashed to smithereens by Dubois.

He was a better fighter when he first turned over and had that false confidence in his ability. His peak was up to and including the Wlad fight. its been downhill ever since.

I'm the biggest Aj hater on this forum, but it's obvious Fury has ducked him from the start

Even now with his chin and ego crushed vs Dubois, Fury still won't dare fight him
I hold my hands up and apologise to those who always said Aj is a bad match up for Fury

I know this thread is about the current ability of Aj, but he's obviously still dangerous enough for Fury to want no part of him.
