    Don't be stupid.

I've never liked Amir due to a number of things he's said over the years, but I give him all the credit in the world for last nights effort.

You can say what you want about him, but at the end of the day, he really wanted to fight Floyd, and when he couldn't get him he moved up to 155 for Canelo. Now he had no business at that weight. He's a WW.

    Your thread is a joke.

    Show some f*cking respect.

Go to your local boxing gym and put a pair of gloves on.

Do that and then get back to me.

Amir showed a lot of courage, a lot more than the guy who he fought.

Audley Harrison had more than his fair share of embarrassing moments, made worse by his delusions outside the ring and the fact that he really accomplished nothing in the pro-ranks, taking 8 years after winning a gold medal to fight for a world title. Khan has at least been a world titlist and mixed with some of the best fighters of his era. Audley's resume is actually boosted by being knocked out in 1 by Wilder and Price, which goes to show how poor the preceding years were.

No mention of boxing embarrassment would be complete without pointing to Roy Jones Jr. He had an absolutely fantastic career until the mid 00s, but his decision to keep fighting since has brought very little but embarrassment and by turns hilarious and awkward moments for the audience. From laying motionless on the canvas for 30 minutes to face first nosedives to offering himself as an opponent to literally anyone (including non-boxers) who is willing to pay him 50,000$ ... he's ****ing on his career, quite literally in some cases as a few of those knock-outs are sure to have included a loss of bladder control.

Oliver McCall had the most embarrassing (and weird) moment in the history of the sport in his rematch with Lennox Lewis.

Any embarrassment McCall had from crying in the ring over personal issues outside it was evened out by the fact that even in that practically defenseless state Lewis couldn't get him out of there or even wobble him.

Arguably the greatest chin of all time, alongside Chuvalo. Absolute, impenetrable, unshakable granite.

The end of Roy's career is sad more than anything else. Why would his defeats have been hilarious to the audience?

Audley could have been a good fighter but he had a mental block.

I've never liked Amir, but last night wasn't embarrassing at all. Canelo's actions are what's embarrassing.

Khan is annoying as hell with all his mouthing off, but yesterday he embarrassed many others by stepping in the ring with Canelo.
